Style Darling was an accidental collaboration, one that may not have occurred at all if it weren't for a twist of fate in our rural community.  Insert a big city girl in a small suburban town...desperately seeking style soul mates. Introduce small town girl with big city dreams, a passion for photography and a personal flair for fashion that is all her own. Sprinkle in some creative chemistry, some  laughter and a little magic and the darlings were born. Lyndsay Lazar, with her passion above all else for the world of fashion, is often seen in front of the camera or hunting down the freshest fashion finds that local shops have to offer. Jeannette Breward, the face behind the lens, is a fine art photography major with a love for whimsy and a gift for finding anyone's best angle. Both gals reside in Northumberland, Ontario; Lyndsay from Cobourg and Jeannette from Port Hope.  

MEET LYNDSAY
 

Lyndsay Lazar is the owner of fashion boutique Kittens Den located downtown Cobourg, Ontario. Lyndsay is the former head editor and writer of the popular parenting lifestyle blog ItMom which was the recipient of several blogger awards, grants and celebrity endorsements. Lyndsay is currently in the process of launching  her first women's wear collection, Phyl&Gwen, which will be available in stores and online soon.

 Lyndsay often describes her personal style as feminine meets whimsy. Lyndsay is frequently spotted perusing local thrift shop racks hunting for that perfect, one-of-a-kind piece, sipping mochas while enjoying a view of Cobourg's beautiful beach or giggling with girlfriends over mojitos downtown Port Hope. Favorite quote - "Life is short, live fabulous!!"

MEET JEANNETTE

Jeannette Breward is the owner and the talent behind  photography studios Jeannette Breward Photography and Jeannette Breward - Fine Art Photography located in Port Hope, Ontario. Jeannette is currently attending her fourth year as a fine art photography major at Ryerson University and is working on the opening of her first local solo gallery show as well as the launch of her first published photography book "Vacant."

Jeannette describes her personal style as laid-back, comfy and quirky.  You can often find Jeannette with her face hidden behind a book, a camera lens or a computer screen as she dreams up and creates the perfect image. Favorite quote - "All good things are wild and free."
